Quite how it managed to do this I am unsure and made anything unrecoverable. The second time it completelydeleted all Illustrator files. It did however leave a copy of alias files. Initially I was pleased as it clear a lot of grey bar storage space. Before I purchased I checked reviews and before starting checked the preferences to make sure it didn't delete files.

I downloaded this a week ago as my mac pro 15 was getting quite full. This a real review from a Mac user of over 20 years as a professional designer. The software maybe handy when is difficult to know what to delete or leave. To resume, in the end McPaw won, as I purchased that Gemini ♊️ software. Computers are becoming life vacuums of some bits of our life. There is the chance that, a file that Should have stayed and was deleted … in any case, I think we all probably have lots of stuff that will be hardly viewed, listened or whatever. I did all the scans and bits, and also used Gemini II, to find and delete duplicates, which deleted 67 Gb of duplicate files.

Now I was able to fully install clean my Mac X. I installed the software on an iMac 2010 with High Sierra, which none of the versions I had, worked with H. My view about McPaw changed slightly, for the better, after I got someone that seemed to understand the problem.

What I said still applies, however, after the right communication with the technical department they decided to provide update of the software but FOR THE LAST TIME. My decision to purchase this software was influenced by the 'lifetime' license. However, I have to say that after looking on Internet to find out details about the location of the Company and also information about Clean my Mac software, When I bought this software for the first time, I was betting on this Company, installing their software and giving them my confidence and this is the way they pay back. Resuming, they are asking me to pay for the update. To cut the story short, they do not want to honour the lifetime license and they say that the software has been redeveloped, that it is a different product, and bla, bla, bla. In one of the replies they even admit that they made a mistake with this `lifetime` license. I contacted them on twitter and they replied.

Time has gone, new Apple hardware, new operating systems and when I have tried to update my software to the latest version/s, MacPaw is asking for upgrade fee.
I purchased Clean my Mac many years back and, at the time, they offered a lifetime license. After the right response from the technical department at McPaw, I must
